This would have to be the biggest point in the presentation that was not already know and in my opinion is a massive deal. I wondered out loud a few weeks ago about whether RNU might venture further down stream into the anode market. I know they can’t do it alone but wondered if their may be an opportunity for POSCO particularly to throw us a bone and partner with us to value add of product further. The point in the presentation mentions partnering. There is a few reasons they may do it. The most important is for them to be able to guarantee their supply of graphite. So we know that graphite comes from Africa and 100% PSG comes from China. It doesn’t look like there will be nearly enough Graphite to meet demand and there are political risks associated with all Graphite supply except good old RNU.

If you are one of the biggest battery component companies in the world and exist outside of China doesn’t it make good business sense to tie up one of the biggest, best and safest Graphite supplies in the world. Since 90 Siviours will be needed I would say yes, and they already have runs on the board in this area doing a deal with PLS to cooperate on downstream products in order to guarantee supply from one of the biggest hard rock lithium supplies in the world.

So POSCO have a few choices
1) Buy us out
2) Do a binding agreement and hope we have enough for them (short term fix)
3) Do a deal with RNU to partner up on an anode facility (and have us guarantee supply forever)

POSCO are one of the started companies around. They could buy us out but do they really want to go into the Graphite mining business. Or do they like the idea of having an Australian business in Australia guarantee them supply, after all that’s what they really want. Having us partner up on a new anode factory would be a win/win in my opinion and has the opportunity to take RNU places we may never have dreamed of.

I could go on but the point is it there in black and white in the presentation that this is where the company is looking in the future. Just keeps getting betterer.

Good summation. Upon listening to DC's latest verbal presentations, I really get the feeling its your scenario 3. I think POSCO will take an equity position and because of that, RNU has yes, added a stage 3! Go you good thing. New year we'll get anns.... POSCO, then other Binding offtakes, Funding options and then FID. IMHO.
