It seems this is just a misunderstanding (on your side). According to my research nothing has changed (CAPEX, NPV) and Sam still wants 40-50% of the project’s funding requirement from investors (for example automakers, mining companies).
Sam was talking about the value of the project (1.2 billion USD) which is the basis for negotations. He does not want 1.2 billion USD from investors but justifies the money he requests (40-50% of the project’s funding requirement) with the NPV of 1.2 billion USD.
With investing in SRL at project level the investors get access to the raw material and to dividends.
It seems this is just a misunderstanding (on your side)....
