Well, I tend to disagree with your statement. Yes, its good to be patient, but when one gets (what I deem to be conflicting) conflicting information, I start to wonder. I'm all for realistic comms, not fluff. If something is going to take time, then say that - dont try and sugar coat it for us - we're big boys and girls and can accept realities, if they are presented as such.
For the past 3 announcements, Bruce has clearly stated that construction will start in Jan 2023, or, lets be generous and say 1st quarter CY2023. All of a sudden, I notice that this has been amended to "Production to commence in 2023" - this is a very broad statement. In other words, we can no longer rely on construction starting in the 1st qtr of the CY2023?
Here's why I take exception - public consultation to follow publication of the ERD - our ERD is not yet complete and based on the to-and-fro, would take another 1-2 months at least - also don't forget most govt offices close for the Christmas break, which risks pushing out the ERD publication to late Jan 2023. How on earth are we going to start construction in Jan-Feb 2023??
Bruce, do yourself a favour - promise less, deliver more and keep that communication flowing (accurate communication). and... if its not too late, based on how you think the current environmental consultant has performed, you may want to consider changing our consultants for AC and M.
