The problem this has at the moment is (as others have stated) a large Asian based fund calling the shots in APAC and another Asian based fund in Old Peak selling down for reasons unknown. One would keep eager Aussie institutions away both would ensure it.
But as time goes by the mine progresses.. the capex rolls over, the new equipment gets utilised, momentary contractors depart as the new paste infrastructure is established and they begin to access the high grade as ventilation works come to an end. All the while the cash balance builds.
I find eventually you get paid here - and it should begin once a clear capital allocation framework is established. Now that MLX share of Retails capex is on the balance sheet, the Area5 expansion works have been completed and the tin price somewhat recovered I would expect that returns should begin to flow soon - 3cps dividend (>10% yield) is just A$27m. We also have some exploration results to look forward to - following up on from the 27m @ 4.6% Sn announced late September. Zoom out, if ur watching this thing too closely and getting frustrated probably says ur in too deep or trying to get rich too quick. Life is a journey, enjoy it
