EMR own 59.32% of these shares = 242,742,942.
They will participate to the full extent of the offer, so 1 share for every 20 held = 12,137,147 shares.
At $0.29 per share cost to EMR is $3,519,778.
Hk xinhe indicate they will take up the whole of their entitlement. 14% of 409,209,275 / 20 = 2,460,464 x $0.29 = $713,535 Cost.
If we assume that all the Bzy holders take up the offer, then EMR ownership remains the same at 59.32%
However that's unlikely, so EMR will increase their ownership to more than 60% . (however HK xinhe increase as well)
This exercise is a good ploy to (a) increase percentage ownership (b) raise capital and (c) dilute the remaining Bzy holders.
Yes, those Bzy holders that don't participate will be diluted.
It has been mooted at director level, that in future a court order may be made to legally acquire all of the remaining minority Bzy holders shares.
Not before making a final offer, that will be to their disadvantage. They'll be wishing they had gone to Specsavers and taken the original offer.
Note that the rights offer is priced at $0.29/share. EMR takeover offer was valued at 30c .
