In Asia, shops are open 24/7 but the workers often go home (town) to visit the relatives and have first week of the year off as their only holidays. I am not sure how it is in Indonesia, but I would hope that things will be moving again next week. Keep the holidays relaxing, I tend to not write off this first week.
