A quick look at the presentation shows some of the strengths in DDR. Within the business I see some very good broad qualities - market leading volume, diversity of distributors, product range, cutting edge planning, increasing recurring revenue (really like that one), M&A choices. There are a few soft spots like further costs associated with integration, inventory discipline, rate rises and supply shortages but all are expected given todays macro economic influences and all are being managed and explained. No complaints from me. I am happy to Have David play with his Rodin F1 racers in fact I am mildly jealous. His spend on that interest is not coming from salary increases.
I have had a read of the Bloc agreement between the founder David and co-founder exwife Fiona and IMO it represents an agreement to ensure that their voting interests remain at the same percentage level and that their direction for the company remains aligned via voting together as a block. Seems more of an agreement than a disagreement and is intentionally in favour of stability of control. Happy to hear anything contra.
