I believe that management have come to the realization that it is a tougher task than they realised with numerous obstacles and surprises that crop up without warning. From my discussions with Peter Lynch years ago, he realised it would be difficult but myself and the BHP Maruwai Project Leader told him that it was much more challenging. Government at 3 levels are difficult and often at loggerheads with each other. This is the number 1 barrier to being successful but Karan has battled his way through it and usually you only have to solve the problems once.
So really I think management are now being realistic and I hope that for once they are under promising
