Yes if they discover the mother load, things may change, but this takes, time money and is risky with no gaurantee they find anything that will move the needle. They would have to find a version of Sparton's Never Never deposit to get a re-rate. I am saying that there is enough their already - it just needs to be worked up a bit (scoping study) and some fundamental questions provided.
MGV is a good reference. Once they released their scopying study RMS had numbers to work with for a TO which followed shortly therafter.
