Slide 15 - read it - next few weeks present a number of likely deals to be secured that turn this stocks share price around.
The outlook might just change materially for AJX. A tiny $17M market cap company led by a team
capable of pulling this back from the brink. They appear to have arrested a catastrophic failure from a downward spiral. What can they do with a tail wind? Debt now gone, and legislation now supporting the AJX products too. A lot of experience accumulated about the science leading to improvements. New markets with a variety of products at long last.
What does it take to bring this company to $20M in profitability with obvious upside? The answer is
about $60M in turn over or just $5M per month. If they can do that fairly rapidly then a title of "strong growth" will be attached to their valuation. Is this still an "if" or is it just a 'when' now? I have nibbled a little harder this past few months.
I believe this is a "when" now and the tone and simplicity of this presentation tell me that is the view of the management team with reputations on the line.
The trend is your friend till the bend at the end eh? Well that changes on a flip; from a trend that was our enemy for many years, to a new direction. That was a down trend that was our enemy till the bend at the end. Down side risk seems low now and only in the nick of time. Upside potential is significant for shares bought under 2cps in my view. The market is naturally skeptical based on the old track record of the
team. That changed and the pieces were mercifully picked up somehow. Time and opportunity cost aside, this may become a longer term investment for me if it all works out. Ongoing performance will determine those decisions if I am right about this.
I started buying back in after about a year of Billy because I recognized potential for a sales based turn around backed by business acumen. Bob is brilliant but Billy is the type of professional that this company needed at the top. The capital light model was a massive failure. The old management were
, and I am being too polite. This became a new company with a viable leadership with Billy. Not an easy ship to turn around. I had closed out positions with massive losses years back now and moved on with valuable lessons. My worst investment ever by far. I hope for everybody attached that this second grab at AJX becomes my best and not a compounded mistake.
