I've never had any major problems with China as state. (Forget about state-run Zijin for a moment, other countries are not much better in this regard either).

If one compares the track record of two superpowers - USA and China - in terms of how they have gone about exerting influence over / conquering the world since the end of WW2, I'd pick China any day. And China's track record is much much better than that of the USA.
