I used to think that too however the LFL sales suggest otherwise. The economy has slowed and retail has been hit and as much as I used to think Lovisa will be immune or somewhat immune, that hasn't turned out to be the case. AX1 LFL down only 2% compared to Lovisa's ~7% so I have ignored the lipstick effect in my investment thesis.
