I'm struggling to find old announcements, but the March 2008 quarterly for Crescent details the installation of a sizing screen as part of the crushing circuit. It appears that they had issues with trying to process fine and coarse ore simultaneously. My gut feel is that it was quite simply getting 'clogged'.
