As for information at hand, whilst I agree there is/was a case to drill a hole, that single hole would be very unlikely to add much value unless extremely lucky. Really really lucky.
add up a few handicaps, depth, location etc and I can easily understand why someight choose to walk away.
Sure there may be more or less to it as far as management intentions go.
But that is nothing anyone with the capital and network or balls to do, including your good selves (the anti gtt team)
Very often in the hands of management - in this case more than just simple management - and more than just one for very different reasons it seems - shareholders are simply stuck with their choices if they cannot weild any clout.
