    For those following the story of iTEST, this post is not directly contract related, but shows the business mindset and intentions of Hubei Provincial Transportation Investment Group in regards to their service area management.

    Part of the reason why they are taking the lead with environmental management at their service areas and investing in new technologies like Aspiral MABR L4 based plants, is that they intend to create a service area management platform that they can sell nationally.

    Meeting the highest environmental standards and being seen to be following the wishes of President Xi and the 13th 5 Year Plan (plus protection of the Yangtze river delta) are all integral to this.

    The success of HBTIG in expanding their service area management platform outside of Hubei will determine some of their ability to exceed the iTEST minimum $45 million Aspiral MABR contract over the next 2.5 years.

    There are also discussions around a standardized design for toll stations across Hubei, if HBTIG have the same mindset with this as for service areas, then once they have reached a standardized design they will likely be looking to sell that into other provinces as well. This will likely incorporate the Aspiral MABR S1 treatment units.
