Following on from their recent MABR discussion meetings and site visits, Hebei Expressway Lufa Industrial Corporation is progressing their planning for sewage treatment & water reuse plants at 2 service area sites.

On the morning of July 10, Lufa Headquarters held an expert demonstration meeting on the implementation of sewage treatment and water reuse system in Xiongxian and Cuizhuang service areas. Relevant experts from the Engineering Department of the Lufa Headquarters, the project maintenance branch, the vice president of the Hebei Academy of Environmental Sciences, and the Hebei Environmental Monitoring Center participated in the meeting.

Participants listened to the four sets of sewage treatment plans reported by the facility branch, and combined with the on-site land conditions, conducted serious discussions on water balance analysis and water treatment methods. Experts from different fields exchanged opinions and fully affirmed the overall work of the project. At the same time, suggestions for revision were put forward from a professional perspective. The project manager of the facility branch made a summary and formed a final opinion, which was unanimously approved.

This meeting laid a solid foundation for the effective implementation of wastewater treatment and water reuse systems, and provided an important basis for reference for the next step.


Note that these 2 service area sites are relatively near to Beijing & Tianjin. This region has some of the most stringent sewage effluent discharge standards and monitoring in the country.
