Buru Energy Limited (Buru) is pleased to announce that following extensive consultation and
negotiations between Buru and representatives of the Nyikina Mangala and Karajarri Traditional
Owners, Buru and the Nyikina Mangala and Karajarri Traditional Owners have reached an
agreement which provides a process by which Buru and the relevant Traditional Owners may
engage, in relation to Buru’s activities in the Canning Basin, and in relation to the
recommencement of Buru’s exploration program, on certain terms.
As a result of this Agreement, field activity in the Ungani area is planned to recommence shortly
