re: Ann: Agreement for the Sale of UXC Field ... Using the two most recent reports, I calculate that there was 50M in book value attributed to Field Solutions. 60M in the segment reporting in last years Annual Report, minus the 10M reduction in overall equity reported for the half year.
There was revenue of 85M in the first half, and given the unit closures not willing to go any higher for the full year than double that, so 170M.
If there were after tax earnings I could take a stab at valuing it. If there was an EBIT figure for the segment I could take a stab.
Without that I'm lost.
How much would someone pay for this thing?
Just how much of the 82 million debt can they pay off with this sale?
I'll just qualify that by making it clear I think they are doing exactly the right thing.
