The use of the word "may" is the stay out of jail card.
In this arena you cant run around making unsubstantiated claims without risking litigation of some sort.
Clinical validation is what is needed and proof before any claims can be made.
I could run around saying CDY/AN1 "may" make a profit this financial year.
But Id be sticking my neck out if I said it "will" without some validation to back it up.
