So who is Raj Batra? President Siemens Digital Factory Division, U.S.

\Raj Batra is responsible for overseeing all development, marketing, sales, research and development (R&D), vertical industry and manufacturing aspects for Digital Factory in the U.S. After joining Siemens in 1993 as Senior Sales Engineer, Batra held a variety of high-level sales and industry management positions including Senior Account Manager, Global Corporate Account Manager and Automotive Business Unit Manager. In 2002, he was appointed by the Siemens Automation & Drives-Sector Development Board as Vice President of Automotive, where he was responsible for the total go-to-market execution in North America and achieved five years of double-digit growth and a market leading position. In early 2005, Raj also established the go-to-market strategy for the burgeoning U.S. - Aerospace Industry. In 2007, Raj was appointed Vice President and General Manager for the Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. Automation and Motion Division, where he was responsible for organizing and directing all activities of the division, which manufactures Industrial Automation Products for the Discrete and Process Automation markets, Machine Tools, Production Machines and Microsystems. Raj earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Michigan.
