Indeed it is a great announcement and a solid oppportuntiy to leverage the RKN customer base (114,000 companies) onto Novatti services howveer it is a great opportunity to grow revenue. Sales figures for the team Novatti have appointed to focus on this customer base will be worth watching.
So the RKN purchase does look like a great dynamic for both businesses. Nov earn $1m + per annum in dividends have a captive market to sell their rails servcies into and the bonus of enhanced sales via additional banking, card services etc. to the same 114,000 exisitng cusotmers.
worst case is that of the 114,000 cusotmers, 10% dont like change at all and wont take the call form Novatti sales so call it 100,000 then its clip the ticket as you've said.
This can only be positive as i see things but im a glass half full guy.
simple math says,
1 customer doing $10,000 pe rmonth @ 1.5% gives a clip of $75. then its 50% for Novatti so, on that, we need 1000 customers @ $10,000 per month to generate $150k which is $75000 to Nov. Extrapolate that out to 5000, 10,000 50,000 customers and it looks good. Then as you will have already thought for yourself, most businesses generate more than $10k a month which i agree 100% with.
Last line of table is 10,000 customers doing $40,000 turnover per month which is where we need to get to pretty quickly and its $3million per month to Nov.
