We are down in the weeds now, previous NSW Govt, some drafts announced. Current NSW Govt equivocal about such but will probably introduce some form of additional tax at some future time. Former Sydney CWN has EGM's but is subject to the same tax, and is not a SGR tax, and as well as the NSW Clubs and Pubs, all affected to some degree being an industry or sector tax. The conga line of SGR spruikers will have us believe it is a SGR specific tax, however the major issue is the inability of SGR to pay the tax, hence the hastened sell off of its prime GC property.
