What possible advantage would they have letting the options lapse?, surely it would be much more convincing to the consultancy firm if the company was much more financial?. No I think this was a clever move by Biotron to keep the gravy train steaming along, now they can give endless announcements starting - “consultancy firm is making tremendous progress with talks with many BP groups”, and the like.
