P.S. Paid off the home loan in 8 years. Woulda been 6, bar the 'early payout' penalties - paid a buck a month for the last 2 years.
Then took the periodic elevations in debt on against the equity in the house.
Oh, and never invested in residential property - could never get the numbers to work without the neg gearing and, particularly, the depreciation 'flexibility' (an excellent rort that fools the financially inept).
