Yes a good feeling to pay the house off quick. Technically it isn’t paid in full yet as we still owe $1 but to do it in 3yrs and 3 months was a great feeling. The remaining $1 will be paid at the end of the loan in 26.5yrs time. Leaving the loan open allows us to if we even need to borrow again is just use the withdrawal facility and not go through all the hoops and hurdles at the bank.

Plus all the credit cards, rewards, discount interest rate are all part of the loan, if we pay it out we lose the benefits.
