It's also possible that KCI, being an engineering and consultancy outfit, did the front end evaluation for others in SK (chaebol affiliates, or not), and recommended to Korean producers the best entry point was in the pre-cast part of the market.
It's long been fairly evident the biggest advantages of E'crete are best extracted by pre-cast manufacturers, because the gains begin earlier in the supply chain, in the production process itself.
