Sungil Hitech, aims to be listed on the KOSDAQ next year

Sungil Hitech (CEO Kang-myeong Lee), a leading company in the domestic waste battery recycling industry, is going to publicize the company in earnest. This is because the battery recycling market is growing rapidly as the rechargeable battery area is highlighted due to the rapid growth of the electric vehicle market, and the role of Sungil Hitech is gradually increasing.


Sungil HiTek recently sent a request for a bid proposal to a domestic securities company for the selection of a listed company, and as a result, KB Securities and Daishin Securities were selected as joint representatives of the IPO. Sungil HiTek is expected to start listing work from next year, and it is expected to enter the KOSDAQ that year.

Sungil HiTek, established in March 2000, is the largest recycling company in Korea that produces valuable metals (gold, silver, palladium, platinum) from waste electronic components. The main business is recycling waste batteries, and various raw materials are recovered from defective lithium batteries generated by battery manufacturers. It also produces cobalt and lithium phosphate as its main products, and is also increasing production of nickel sulfate, manganese, and copper.

Sungil HiTek has business sites in the US, China, Malaysia, India, and Hungary as well as in Korea, and is strengthening partnerships with major countries for recycling raw materials for batteries.
