Hi Cazz, there is no requirement to have an SEZ to export graphite, if it's deemed a metallic mineral then the requirement is simply that it is value added. If it's not a metallic mineral then no restriction applies in this area as I understand it.
So MNS may be the only one with an SEZ licence that can export graphite, simple as no one else has an SEZ licence, this however doesn't mean MNS are the only ones that can export graphite, others will do it without an SEZ licence if they meet the requirements to export.
Anyway, happy to hear from anyone that has a link that states an SEZ is a requirement to export, I certainly haven't found one.
So perhaps the way the announcement was worded has created confusion amongst holders on what the actual requirements are to export. Unfortunate.
All just in my very humble opinion of course.
