Have reproduced the response just posted on original suspension and reiterate for second as only addition is announcement of an acquisition.

Have looked at the suspension letters a few times.
The letters from the Company just don’t sit well in the norms of regulatory responses to the ASX. I still believe they need a Company Secretary Specialist or a law firm specialist in ASX compliance.

Excerpts from Suspension first letter -

    1. “The Company requests a voluntary suspension immediately, pending the Company’s response to ASX’s Price and Volume Query letter (“ASX Query”) received on 30 March 2021.” (So reading literally the suspension is requested pending the response to the ASX Query - but I think they meant to say that in order to properly respond to the ASX Query a suspension is sought by the company. The use of pending is confusing here as it can be interpreted as once the response is issued a suspension is sought. It’s confusing sorry.

    2. “The suspension is to last until the earlier of the Company finalising its response to the ASX Query referred to above, or commencement of trade on Tuesday, 6 April 2021.” (Earlier of the response being finalised but not stated as released or start of trade - so if their response not finalised then the earlier should have been start of trade today. Normally they would say releasing the response) now we have another period of time.

    3. “We expect the suspension will end by the Company’s response to the ASX Query referred to above.” (That line is contradictory to point 2 which states a date the earlier of to occur. Further this type of statement is unusual as it means nothing and the English is poor. The suspension ends by the response? That should be the suspension should be lifted once the matters raised by the ASX Query letter are satisfactorily answered)

    4. “The Company is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted.”
(Hard for them to state this before the query letter has been issued.)

    Disappointing handling and poor English.

This is not a legal opinion or criticism and cannot be relied upon.

    Only observations.
