I am curious as to which party approached which regarding this collaboration.
My initial feeling is that while I'm unclear about the benefits of the arrangement- I've got faith in PYC management. They wouldn't pursue/accept an arrangement that ostensibly cost 5.5m if they didn't see some significant strategic benefit.
Hopefully some more enlightened posters here with a better understanding of the AI implications can help educate me/us in what this all means.
