Interesting. I was expecting something similar when Webjet's new shares (issued at $1.70) started trading yesterday. However, big gains both yesterday and today (today no doubt inspired by promising news in terms of COVID-19 treatment and the Trump administration's goal of having a vaccine ready by end of 2020). At time of writing Webjet shares are trading at $2.91 (71% above the $1.70 issue price of the new shares!).
