Oh darn I just saw REH raised today and it was a SPP too!
I think this strategy works better for someone at the smaller end of retail (like me). Reading between the lines, your portfolio is probably an order of magnitude greater than mine and even the 47K AIA raising won't be enough, whereas for me that is a very large position. Though as mentioned it may be scaled back significantly.
Thanks for the names. I did have ABC on my list (not BLD) but am not sure if I want really cheap and poor quality. AMC and JHX were both looked but I am not sure how the CDI holding structure would change a SPP. Will companies domiciled offshore still raise in the same way?
MPL was going to be on the list but I was unsure if its no net debt would get it out of gaol. Though the leverage these companies have to small changes in premiums (rate of and numbers) is large. Perhaps with elective surgery out, people will opt out of private health.
