I suspect most retailers will need to raise capital.
Its one thing to survive the shutdown by liquidating current stock and drawing on existing facilities.
The big question mark is what happens next, how do you fund the upfront working capital investment required to purchase new season stock when existing facilities are likely to be drawn and cash stockpiles eroded by fixed overheads?
Perhaps the above impact may also spill into retail facing REITs.
