Ann: AIC Mines and Demetallica Agree to Combine, page-35

I haven't been following what's going in regarding AIC Mine's takeover bid for Demetallica recently, as have been away in NZ. My later father held some DRM shares. The last letter I received (dated 6/12) s about the compulsory acquisition, says DRM shareholders whose shares are compulsorily acquired will receive a claim form advising them how to claim their consideration (which will be in the form of AIC Mine shares).
Will likely sell the shares simply because that's the easiest option. I do wonder if it is worth holding onto these shares and other shares my father owned (most are mining companies) but I have to think about all the beneficiaries (and none of us want the hassle of tax consequences down the track when we sell the shares). Risky times....
