In late March Qantas secured A$1.05 billion (NZ$1.12b) loan from a private lender for up to 10 years with an interest rate of 2.75 per cent.
AIZ will look into a similar option before a capital raise.
Even IF a capital raise was conducted, this is still a very profitable share to hold.
Look at FLT for example, they conducted a capital raise ( I participated ) and it have been very profitable since.
Either way this is great stock I just think a private equity loan as a first level of defence followed by government loan then worst case then capital raise would be a great solution.
