For all that don’t know Matt Gill makes $375k per year + super and was the Mine Manager at Beaconsfield Gold Mine in Northern Tasmania when the disaster hit in 2006 killing one miner and leaving two trapped for two weeks.

The above two reasons are why I’ve never held the stock. MT Carrington is a stranded asset, too many greenies in the area making permitting lengthy and hard plus the gold grade is not there to make ASIC profitable unless the silver prices increases.

The only hope this company has for making any shareholders returns is if the JV with Sandfire finds an economical VMS deposit which is why I watch with interest.
