Not sure why you hoped for the remainder of Kimberley results when you saw the alert!
They've got the results of the best parts already and not sure what the rest of the results will return but it's slightly irrelevant.
The big news has already been released in relation to the maiden drilling and it was the 12m intersection at
Orion, from the first hole ever - they only drilled 2 holes there all up anyway - and hole 1 was already a discovery (ie. 12m @ 1.6% Cu, 31.7g/t Ag and 0.5g/t Au from 45m)?
They're now going back and drilling that out - that's the exciting bit and what I am (and thought everyone was) looking forward to (the most).
The 12m result, from the first hole just scraped the plate too.
Plus, if that supergene mineralisation is there on top too, then it just takes it to another level.
Grant's Find; only had 3 holes drilled and all hit mineralisation, including:
10m @ 2.3% Cu, 0.1 g/t Au and 0.03% Co from 101m.
Fuso had 5 holes and hit some mineralisation, but we now know that Fuso drilling was a near-miss.
The rest of the holes (7) are from the
Chianti VMS where the noted hit was 2m of massive sulphide. VMS is hard to hit and I'm not really a fan of it personally and I think that they're unlikely to go to Chianti any time soon and it'll be all Tarraji in the near future (Orion, Grant's Find, Fuso, Rough Triangle, etc).
Anyway, you can bet your bottom dollar that the majors are (at least) watching DRE at the moment as it's likely the most exciting drilling campaign of any junior on the ASX.
Today's announcement looking good:
- massive 43,000 line-kilometre airborne magnetic-radiometric survey over Mangaroon Rare Earths & Gold areas started
- will be ongoing for 6 weeks in the background while they drill the heck out of Orion/Tarraji
"In the interim, the upcoming Kimberley program remains on schedule with field crews on site and the drill rig arriving late September.”
Orion rig arriving next week and drilling to start after that - can't wait for this!!
