The article does not specify directly wether the deposit needs to be on Australian soil. It is an agreement to generate an alliance between the US and Australia on supply of rare earth minerals. As we well know that 80% of that market is Chinese based. So US-China trade war creates issues of supply to the US. Point being, is that agreement limited to deposits just in Australia or could it be sourced by Australian companies overseas? If so how will this relate to OVL and what advantages or disadvantages has this agreement in the future?
