Yes, I hope AIZ does take this opportunity to monopolize more of the region once all the competitors without Gov backing goes bust.
- Pacific islands?
- Potential to enter AU domestics?
- More Southeast Asia routes?
That said, I still think it's high risk to buy now as we don't know how long this virus will last... & the amount of time for AIZ to pay off the loan will suppress any significant growth unless they can secure another loan, say, a year after this crisis is over to invest in expansion.
