Q1) Who should be creating the profile?

Q2) When should they have started doing that?

A1) Surely that is done through commercial and marketing channel's directed by and controlled by "the board"?

A2) They have had at least the past 18-month to 2-years but what have they done to achieve that goal, or at least begin the process?

Zero result on both counts in years and years, and with a shed load of money thrown at it, or at least available to!

I believe in the product, absolutely - but the team running this need to be cleaned out so someone with some commercial accuity and ability to negotiate a deal (sales) can come in.

The sooner the better!

Sorry, but the pointless announcement of "nothing" today, just underlines the desperation and poor judgement of the incumbents.
