The whole capital raising practice is all too common. It's akin to a Government 'printing money'. I don't know how it's legal that you buy a portion of a company, then effectively the portion you paid for and own is reduced so they can issue more shares. The idea is the company is worth more after the sale, so the value of your portion stays the same. However, it's never the case - there is no assurance that value will be unchanged.
