Hey N0wan, what people don't understand about NXT is that is has really strong cashflow and a better way of determining when you will get your $6 back is to look at the repayment based on cashflow. For most businesses the cashflow is inline with earning but given NXT is capital intensive we get the offset the cashflow with depreciation. So the earnings is much lower than the cashflow. The thing is most of the capital has been outlaid with the cap raisings, so I tend to look at Price/Cashflow. Additionally a true price of a stock is normally determined by Discounted Cash Flow (DCF). DCF determines the price by discounting future earnings into todays dollars. The thing that makes NXT so appealing is it has long term contracts with customers 5-10-15 years out. Compared to most companies the recurring revenue in future years is actually baked in, leading to a higher PE. Lastly the rate of growth also justifies a higher PE. I do think the PE is higher than what it should be but if you are a long term investors there is no cause for concern. Based on capacity, I believe NXT should be worth $ 4bil+ in market cap once all new datacentres are fully utilised, it will take another 3-5 years to get there.
