I think it's more a way if TGP trying to cash out as quickly as possible. TGP intended to fund their holding partially through AJD capital distribution. NXT is trying to prevent/delay this distribution which puts TGP in a bit if an awkward spot.
300 million is wishful thinking for the portfolio, which is already over valued by the market in my opinion due to the two takeover attempts for the overall company. I'm glad NXT is declining that price and if someone else accepts it then TGP will bugger off to what ever cave they crawled out of.
