    I guess that the difference is that the original offer from 360 Capital was to sell the properties - whereas this is to actually buy the REIT.

    Since they already own 30% of it, they would be paying some $170M to get the rest of the shares, which maybe they would look at spinning back out again, recovering the capital. They could even look at boosting the portfolio with more of their properties and recovering more capital again.

    Although maybe they would think twice about floating more than 50% of the value after the recent entertainment with gold diggers.
