I am of two minds with this announcement.
Happy that the Design. has been validated which was the critical issue so functionality is all OK.
Works as intended and expected. Brilliant PVDM has been finally vindicated on Higher Intelligence from the formative days
Unsure of the need for further software, firmware and driver development ????Why ????
I consider this is just a technical hitch that is fixable "outside" of the chip and not related to design.
They seem confident of being able to fix as they anticipate shipping engineering samples to EAP but I suspect this may be delayed whilst they fine tune firmware and drivers presumably for some of the many interfaces.
Firmware and cyber security is an area NSA get involved in but I understand the scrutiny with NASA involvement
