Melbana Energy’s Executive Chairman, Andrew Purcell, commented: “We are currently drilling
ahead towards the prognosed N Sheet reservoir (~3000 mMD) and are encouraged by the oil shows,
in the form of fluorescence, that we are encountering. Their significance will be clarified once more of
the (possibly N reservoir) limestones are drilled and evaluated to determine if moveable oil is present”.
It sounds like these oil shows may have occurred after they have gone through the seal section and are getting into the start of the limestone N reservoir
