So bought a heap of oppies on a punt during the last big run.. unusual for me but after doing some background.. saw a massive upside.

So oil, gas, minerals not my forte at all. Just being upfront, but it seems to me if the drill results are good i.e yes melbana have found a shit load of oil, and again without being expert, it seems they've found at least "some" oil, this thing then changes from a explorer to a producer?

Can those who know more, paint a picture, assuming they find oil in commercially viable quantities.
