"The pre-drillsynopsis for this well is that the two main (primary) targets are yet to be reached" ... but the U1 target got intersected within the 670m column that finished at 1130m which was 300-400m higher than the pre drill diagram.

1st update announced that at 1047m they had intersected 547 m so far (ie 500 - 1047) and were drilling towards 1st target.
2nd update said 670m column went to 1130m (ie 460 - 1130) and that this 670m section "includes the interval of the anticipated “U1” secondary objective, through which excellent hydrocarbon shows were reported". To me this suggests U1 was somewhere between 1047 and 1130m for it to be included in the 670m column (somewhere in this 83m section) which looks like U1 is higher than the diagram shows - in the diagram it looks like it should be at 1200 - 1500.

So are they 300 - 400 meters out?

That may indicate N starts higher than in the diagram. Diagram shows LHS section starts at about 2200 and RHS section starts at about 2400m. If they are 300 - 400 m out, the N zone could start at 1800/1900 on LHS and 2000/2100 on RHS.

They are at 1842 now and are running the tests they said they would do at 2200 (ie they are 358 m higher than originally planned pre-drill).

I don't know if this is good or bad ... any ideas?
