I’m interested to learn more about this sidetrack and the OWC from experts.
Is there no reason why the last 40m or so can’t be plugged and simply flow test from the remaining 200 or so metres of existing hole in marti? This would effectively be the same as the TVD of the proposed sidetrack? Do they have to plug the whole existing marti section, below the sidetrack because of the formation water?
