Hi TC. Exactly what I read into the announcement too. The only unexpected element in it for me, is that the discovery is now almost certainly MUCH MUCH bigger than even they expected. And they already expected it to be globally significant. Knowing that, they've made a decision to protect the well and continue on which is the right decision.
Shareholders wanting some jumps in the share price this week will be disappointed.
Those of us happy to wait for it to jump 300% will not be disappointed. AP won't be going to Cuba just to have a cup of tea with the team. Clearly the discovery is so huge, there's now major business developments to take care of also.
Personally, I'm expecting very, very big news to come over the weeks, and that's said with ZERO ramping intent. Just stating the obvious now.
